Bluetooth vs Mesh

To understand SENA Intercom technology, you need to know the differences between their Mesh and Bluetooth products. Refer to the graphic to acquire a quick understanding.

SENA Mesh

Mesh Intercom is a communication network that allows users to connect with an unlimited number of people. When a user activates Mesh Intercom, they instantly link with other nearby users within the same Mesh network.

This system supports open communication, known as Open Mesh Intercom, which uses a multi-channel protocol to enable communication across different channels. Additionally, users can create a separate, closed communication network.

SENA Bluetooth

Bluetooth Intercom, on the other hand, is a peer-to-peer communication method that forms a chain connection, supporting communication for up to four headsets.

Users must go through a pairing process before they can communicate, giving them control over who connects to their headset.
